SAN DIEGO, Oct 23, 2007 -- Volcano Corporation (Nasdaq: VOLC) announced today the closing of its public offering of 8,050,000 shares of its common stock at a public offering price of $16.25 per share, including 1,050,000 shares sold as a result of the underwriters' exercise of their over-allotment option in full at the closing. Proceeds from the offering after deducting underwriting discounts and commission but before expenses are expected to be approximately $123.3 million.
