Cooley partner, Jeffrey Cohen, will be moderating this webinar.

A panel of experts will discuss how the unpredictability of the economy has forced many companies to file subsequent chapter 11 cases commonly referred to as "chapter 22s" with greater regularity. During this webinar attendees will be able to:

  • Understand how additional restrictions in the bankruptcy code can complicate the process.
  • Identify the indicators that lead chapter 11 cases to become chapter 7 cases in the bankruptcy process.
  • Determine if it is appropriate to retain the same professionals employed in the first chapter 11 case in the subsequent chapter 7 or 11 outcome.
  • Analyze whether the retention of the same professionals presents an inherent conflict of interest between the dueling bankruptcy estates.

Panel:
Ronald J. Friedman, SilvermanAcampora
Marion M. Quirk, Cole Schotz Meisel Forman & Leonard PA
Peter J. Roberts, Shaw Gussis Fishman Glantz Wolfson & Towbin LLC
Sandra Vrejan, Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP
