Dawn Roelofs is an IP Litigation Specialist in the firm's Intellectual Property Litigation practice group and a member of the Cooley Litigation department. She joined the firm in May 2000 and is resident in the Reston office.
Ms. Roelofs' numerous years of experience managing complex intellectual property matters have led to her expertise in patent litigation in the most common patent infringement jurisdictions, such as Northern and Central Districts of California, Eastern District of Texas and Eastern District of Virginia ("Rocket Docket"). Her experience covers all phases of litigation including Markman hearings and jury trials.
Prior to joining Cooley, Ms. Roelofs was a senior litigation paralegal in the D.C. offices of Howrey LLP and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.
Ms. Roelofs received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland in 1992. She is a member of the National Capital Area Paralegal Association and the Alumni Association of the University of Maryland.
