Cooley advised clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company Kura Oncology (Nasdaq: KURA) on its global strategic collaboration with Kyowa Kirin to develop and commercialize ziftomenib, Kura’s selective oral menin inhibitor that is being investigated for the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia and other hematologic malignancies.

Cooley advised Cidara Therapeutics (Nasdaq: CDTX), a biotechnology company using its proprietary Cloudbreak platform to develop drug-Fc conjugate immunotherapies designed to save lives and improve the standard of care for patients facing serious diseases, on its concurrent $240 million private placement financing and definitive agreement with Janssen Pharmaceuticals, a Johnson & Johnson Company, to reacquire the exclusive global development and commercial rights to CD388.

Cooley is advising Turning Point Therapeutics, a leading precision oncology company, on its definitive agreement to be acquired by global biopharmaceutical company Bristol Myers Squibb. Cooley advised Kronos Bio on its $287.5 million initial public offering of 15,131,579 shares of common stock, which includes the full exercise of the underwriters’ option to purchase additional shares. Kronos Bio, whose securities now trade on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the symbol KRON, is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company dedicated to the discovery and development of novel cancer therapeutics.
