Cooley represented Beijing Tiannuo Jiancheng Pharmaceutical Technology, a joint venture of a subsidiary of InnoCare Pharma (HKEX: 09969; SSE: 688428) and a subsidiary of KeyMed Biosciences (HKEX: 02162), in connection with a joint exclusive license agreement with Prolium Bioscience for the development and commercialization of ICP-B02 (CM355), a CD20xCD3 bispecific antibody.

Cooley advised Avenzo Therapeutics, a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing next-generation oncology therapies, on its exclusive license agreement with Duality Biotherapeutics (DualityBio), pursuant to which Avenzo will develop, manufacture and commercialize AVZO-1418/DB-1418– a potential best-in-class epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR)/human epidermal growth factor receptor 3 (HER3) bispecific antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) – globally (excluding Greater China). 

Cooley advised clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company Kura Oncology (Nasdaq: KURA) on its global strategic collaboration with Kyowa Kirin to develop and commercialize ziftomenib, Kura’s selective oral menin inhibitor that is being investigated for the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia and other hematologic malignancies.

Cooley advised Degron Therapeutics on intellectual property due diligence matters in connection with its $1.2 billion collaboration agreement with Takeda Pharmaceuticals. Degron and Takeda will collaborate to utilize Degron’s GlueXplorer platform to identify, validate and optimize molecular glue degraders for specific therapeutic targets selected by Takeda.

Cooley advised European life sciences investment firm Medicxi on its strategic $40 million investment in D3 Bio, a Shanghai-based biotechnology company focused on the discovery, development and registration of innovative medicines in oncology and immunology.
