Event summary
The 24th Annual Symphony at Salk will be a spectacular evening of music, featuring the sensational San Diego Symphony and special guest artist Tony Award-winner Laura Benanti. Experience warm camaraderie, gourmet food and drink, a breathtaking sunset and refreshing ocean breezes, all against the backdrop of one of the world’s most striking architectural masterpieces.
Proceeds from the Symphony at Salk are a vital source of funding for the Institute’s world-renowned foundational research in cancer, neuroscience, metabolism, plant biology and other pressing biological questions. Philanthropy funds more than 50 percent of Salk scientists’ high-risk, high-reward research. Proceeds also support Salk’s award-winning education outreach programs provided at no cost to the youth of San Diego and their teachers. Cooley is a sponsor of this event.
