US Representative Greg Walden (R-Ore.) and Cooley partner and former FCC Commissioner Robert McDowell will host a virtual town hall to discuss current efforts to re-write the online platform liability shield of Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act and upcoming legislation in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the prospects for new infrastructure spending, antitrust investigations into tech companies, the future of broadband and 5G, the possibility of federal privacy legislation, implications of the upcoming election and much more.
