Women's Bar Association 2020 Gala
Event summary
Cooley is a proud sponsor of this year's Women's Bar Association (WBA) Gala. Embracing all that is different about 2020, the WBA has pivoted from the annual in-person networking Gala to a completely virtual “All Dressed Up and Nowhere To Gala” experience.
The WBA event will feature James Beard Award winner, chef Karen Akunowicz of Bravo’s “Top Chef” and chef/owner of Boston’s renowned Fox & The Knife restaurant in Southie. The program will include a fireside chat lead by WBA President, Nicole Forbes and an interactive Q&A with Karen to discuss issues ranging from being a female chef in a male-dominated industry to the challenges of running a small business in the time of COVID to her work for LGBTQ advocacy.
