Event summary
Cooley is proud to sponsor the Adams Street Foundation 2021 Virtual Benefit. The virtual spring benefit is the primary fundraiser that supports the Adams Street Foundation’s critical mission. This year’s honoree and host is Stacey Friedman, Executive Vice President and General Counsel for JPMorgan Chase & Co. The Urban Assembly School for Law and Justice (SLJ) is part of a network of twenty-two public schools throughout New York City dedicated to empowering underserved youth, by providing them with the academic and life skills necessary for college and career success. This success is largely due to support provided by the Adams Street Foundation, the school’s in-house, nonprofit partner. The foundation delivers high-impact college enrichment and preparation programming, leadership development and personalized mentorship to break down the socioeconomic barriers to success that SLJ students face daily.
