Preparing for California’s Emission Disclosure Regulations
California’s new emission disclosure regulations require thousands of companies to provide assurance-ready emissions data for Scopes 1 and 2 emissions by 2026 and Scope 3 emissions by 2027. For professionals collecting, analyzing and reporting sustainability information, saying “there is a lot to stay on top of” is an understatement. This was in-depth overview of the state of regulatory environmental, social and governance (ESG) disclosure, with opportunities to gain practical insights for meeting emissions disclosure requirements.
