The Recorder Names Heidi Keefe to "Women Leaders in Tech Law" List

Palo Alto – August 13, 2014 – Cooley LLP announced today that parter Heidi Keefe has been named to The Recorder's "50 Women Leaders in Tech Law" list. This is the second consecutive year that she has been named to the list.

This year's list includes 28 law firm recipients; 19 in-house department recipients from some of California's most-watched companies; two academics; and one government official. The honorees were chosen based on their recent accomplishments and for their demonstrated ability to lead.

Keefe is a Palo Alto-based partner in Cooley's intellectual property litigation group. She represents clients in high-stakes patent trials before juries and judges. A former astrophysicist and registered patent attorney, Keefe is facile with an array of technical disciplines, from software to medical devices. Recently, Keefe was trial counsel for Facebook in two successful patent trials, one of which was the company's first ever patent suit.
