Invitae – $51 Million Follow-On

San Francisco – November 30, 2016 – Cooley advised the underwriters on Invitae Corporation’s $50.6 million follow-on offering of 8,433,332 shares of common stock, which included the full exercise of the underwriters’ option to purchase up to 1,099,999 additional shares of common stock.

JP Morgan acted as sole book-running manager for the offering and Cowen and Company acted as co-manager for the offering.

The mission of Invitae, which trades on The New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “NVTA,” is to bring comprehensive genetic information into mainstream medical practice to improve the quality of healthcare for billions of people.

Cooley advised the underwriters on Invitae’s $117 million IPO in February 2015.
