Roku – $252 Million IPO
Palo Alto – October 2, 2017 – Cooley advised Roku on its $252 million initial public offering of 18,018,200 shares of Class A common stock, including the exercise in full by the underwriters of their option to purchase additional shares, at a price to the public of $14.00 per share. Cooley partners Mark Tanoury, John McKenna and Seth Gottlieb led the team advising Roku.
Roku – which now trades on The NASDAQ Global Select Market as “ROKU” – pioneered streaming for the TV and aspires to power every TV in the world. As of the end of June 2017, Roku OS powered TV streaming for 15+ million monthly active accounts, which streamed nearly 7 billion hours of video and music in the first half of the year.
