RealSelf Raises $40 Million

Round will accelerate global growth and technology innovation for Seattle-based cosmetic treatment review platform

Palo Alto – May 31, 2018 – Cooley advised RealSelf, Inc., on its first financing round in 10 years – $40 million, led by Elephant, a venture capital firm headed by Warby Parker co-founder Andy Hunt, who will join RealSelf’s board of directors. Partner Jon Gavenman led the Cooley team advising RealSelf.

RealSelf has brought important transparency to the growing aesthetics market. Through its website and mobile app, consumers can easily access more than two million anonymous patient reviews, "Worth It" ratings and photos, combined with medical expert insights, relating to hundreds of different aesthetic procedures available today.
