Cooley’s Founding Office Sets Sights on Three Embarcadero
San Francisco – November 29, 2018 – Cooley has signed a lease that will move its San Francisco office from 101 California Street to Three Embarcadero Center. Cooley will enjoy a state-of-the-art office space with views around the city and the Bay. More than 300 employees will occupy 130,000 square feet across five floors near the top of the building.
“Cooley got its start in San Francisco nearly a century ago and has since been at the forefront of technology, innovation and the global economy,” said Joe Conroy, Cooley’s chief executive officer. “This move aligns both with that lineage and with the firm’s commitment to our incredibly talented group of lawyers and staff in the Bay Area and beyond.”
“With this deal, we will remain in the heart of San Francisco’s Financial District,” said Patrick Gunn, partner in charge of Cooley’s San Francisco office. “Our new space will feature stunning views, sophisticated technology and wellness spaces for our workforce and our clients.”
