Fortune Recognizes Cooley as a Top 3 Best Workplace in New York
New York – July 16, 2019 – Fortune has again named Cooley to its Best Workplaces in New York list, ranking the firm #3 of all large companies in the state.
Earlier this year, Cooley moved its New York office to 55 Hudson Yards, the center of the largest private real estate development in US history. The firm’s workforce and clients now enjoy flagship, state-of-the-art office space across 130,000 square feet near the top of the building.
“Our new office at Hudson Yards serves as an inspiration and a blueprint for future office moves as we continue to expand across the globe. The new space was designed to support one of the firm’s main priorities – investing deeply in our exceptional people,” said Kathy Pakenham, partner-in-charge of Cooley’s New York office. “It’s rewarding to know our efforts are resonating.”
To determine the 2019 Best Workplaces in New York, Fortune partner Great Place to Work analyzed survey feedback from more than 70,000 employees working in the New York state and metropolitan areas. Employees responded to more than 60 survey questions anonymously rating their employers.
Fortune consistently recognizes Cooley for its unique culture, having named the firm to its 100 Best Companies to Work For list for the sixth consecutive time earlier this year. Fortune also frequently ranks Cooley on its best workplace lists for millennials, diversity, women, parents, flexibility and giving back.
Crain’s New York Business, which has recognized Cooley as a Best Place to Work in New York City for six years running, recently highlighted the firm’s new space on its Coolest Offices in New York feature.
