Fortune Names Cooley a Seven-Time Best Company to Work For
Palo Alto – February 18, 2020 – Fortune has recognized Cooley on its elite 100 Best Companies to Work For list for the seventh consecutive year. The Best Companies list is the result of the most extensive employee survey in corporate America.
“It is extraordinary to think about how far Cooley has come,” said Joe Conroy, Cooley’s chairman and chief executive officer. “Our people-first culture and firmwide commitment to inclusion and wellness continue to be central to our success and driving forces behind our global growth.”
Fortune partners with Great Place to Work to determine the 100 Best Companies to Work For list. The rankings are based on a data-driven methodology applied to anonymous survey responses from more than 650,000 employees at Great Place to Work-certified organizations across the US. Earning a spot on the list indicates that companies have distinguished themselves by creating a special place to work for employees. This is measured and ranked through the institute’s Trust Index survey and Culture Audit questionnaire. In the survey, employees anonymously assess their workplace and share their experiences of trust and reaching their full human potential as part of their organization.
Cooley’s unique culture has been widely recognized by leading industry organizations and publications, including by being named to Fortune’s best workplaces lists for diversity, millennials, women, flexibility and parents. Cooley has also earned Gold Standard Certification from the Women in Law Empowerment Forum for eight consecutive years. Other national and regional publications continue to recognize Cooley as a great place to work, including Working Mother, Crain’s New York Business and the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.
