Cooley: A Five-Time Best Workplace for Millennials

July 22, 2021

Palo Alto – July 22, 2021 – Fortune has named Cooley to its Best Workplaces for Millennials list, which identifies organizations that distinguished themselves as the leaders in attracting and developing the leaders of tomorrow.

“The people here are caring, compassionate, hard-working, dedicated, friendly, supportive, intelligent and engaging people,” said an anonymous Cooley employee quoted in Fortune’s profile. “Everyone looks out for one another. This isn’t just a company, we are a family.”

To determine the 2021 Best Workplaces for Millennials list, Fortune partnered with the people analytics firm Great Place to Work to analyze anonymous survey feedback representing more than 5.3 million US employees. Employees responded to more than 60 survey questions. Eighty-five percent of the evaluation is based on what millennials say about their experiences of trust and reaching their full human potential as part of their organization, no matter who they are or what they do. The remaining 15 percent of the rank is based on an assessment of millennials’ daily experiences of innovation, the company’s values and the effectiveness of their leaders.

Cooley is consistently recognized for its dedication to its employees and its unique culture, earning annual placement on Fortune best workplaces lists for women, diversity, parents and consulting and professional services. National and regional publications continue to recognize Cooley as a great place to work, including Working Mother, Crain’s New York Business and the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.
