QED Investors Closes Nearly $1 Billion in New Funds
Washington, DC – June 5, 2023 – Cooley advised QED Investors, a top global fintech venture capital firm, in its closing of two new funds with combined capital commitments of $925 million. Lawyers Aaron Velli, Katelyn Kimber, Sammi Weiner and Paul Roberts led the Cooley team.
The new capital commitments comprise QED Fund VIII, an oversubscribed $650 million early-stage fund, and QED Growth II, a $275 million early growth-stage fund. These funds will allow QED to continue to invest in disruptive fintech companies in the US, the UK and Europe, as well as Latin America, India and Southeast Asia, and Africa.
