Baird Capital Closes Sixth Venture Capital Fund

Chicago – December 18, 2023 – Cooley advised Baird Capital, a manager of two investment platforms – venture capital and global private equity – investing in business-to-business (B2B) technology and services-focused companies, on the final close of its sixth US venture capital fund, its largest venture fund to date, with a total of $218 million in committed capital. Partner Richard Ginsberg led the Cooley team advising Baird Capital.

The fund will be led by Baird Capital investment partners Joanna Arras, Mark Donnelly, Jim Pavlik and Benedict Rocchio, who collectively have 70+ years of investment experience in the tech and services sector. Baird Capital will invest in mid-stage venture companies in the B2B technology and services market, committing $10 million to $20 million in equity over the life of each investment. To date, the fund has invested $34.5 million in three companies – Osano, Parallax and Zylo.
