Cooley lawyers Sanya Sukduang, Jonathan Davies and Brittany Cazakoff earned a spot on The American Lawyer’s Litigation Daily Litigator of the Week Runners-Up and Shout Outs list for securing a win on behalf of Liquidia Technologies when the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit upheld a decision by the Patent Trial and Appeal Board invalidating a patent that United Therapeutics asserted against Liquidia. The American Lawyer noted that the result cleared the way for regulatory approval of Liquidia’s drug, which treats pulmonary arterial hypertension, sending the company’s stock up 44%.
