Cooley partners Dave Young, Michael Rhodes and Matt Hallinan were recognized in the Los Angeles Times’ Entertainment Business Visionaries list, which spotlights the uniquely talented leaders who provide financing for projects and transactions, as well as those who offer advisory services to entertainment industry firms and executives.
Young, Rhodes and Hallinan were also noted for their work in connection with the Kardashian-Jenner family, such as advising on strategic acquisitions and partnerships. Hallinan and Rhodes were featured for guiding Justin Bieber on the sale of his music rights to Hipgnosis Songs Capital, and Rhodes was also noted for defending members of the Kardashian-Jenner family in a $100 million defamation suit.
