Event summary

The Artificial Intelligence and the Digital Economy conference introduced the Artificial Intelligence Act adopted by the European Commission in April 2021 and discussed its implications on the main sectors of the digital economy. The discussion also included analysis of the risk-based approach – including prohibited AI systems, standardization and high-risk AI – in addition to the European Union legal framework on data protection and big data.
