AI has the potential to revolutionize our healthcare system, from drug discovery and development to diagnostic platforms and clinical workflow applications that elevate patient care and improve outcomes. This session covered the opportunities and challenges for digital health companies leveraging AI capabilities. Discussion topics addressed data ownership and data sharing considerations unique to healthcare, including why investing in and protecting datasets is critical when seeking venture capital investment and external partners.

Speakers also provided a deep dive into the state of funding for companies at the intersection of AI and digital health, including current deal trends and what early- and late-stage companies can expect to see in a term sheet in the current market.
