Rappi Drives in $220 Million
New York – September 25, 2018 – Cooley advised on-demand delivery company Rappi on its latest round of funding totaling nearly $220 million. Partner Stephane Levy headed the team advising Rappi.
Rappi is one of the fastest-growing and highest-profile private tech companies in Latin America, with significant operations in Colombia, Mexico and Brazil. It has built a leading on-demand task and delivery service in the region, enabling its users to order and receive deliveries for a broad set of goods, including groceries, meals, beverages, electronics and medical prescriptions.
Rappi was founded by Colombia entrepreneurs Simón Borrero, Sebastian Mejia and Felipe Villamarin in 2016. Cooley previously advised Rappi on its Series A and Series B rounds of funding.
