Cooley: A Crain’s New York Best Place to Work for Eighth Year
New York – December 14, 2020 – For the eighth consecutive year, Crain’s New York Business has recognized Cooley on its elite 100 Best Places to Work in New York City list. The firm was ranked #11 in the large companies category.
“In a year marked by uncertainty, it’s been encouraging to see one thing remain steady – our people, who always come together to support and invest in one another, even from afar and amid great challenge,” said Kathy Pakenham, partner in charge of Cooley’s New York office and chair of the firm’s business department. “It’s heartening to be recognized yet again by Crain’s for this unique culture of ours, and I’m honored to work alongside such a wonderful and talented team.”
The Best Places to Work in NYC is a survey and recognition program that identifies the area’s best employers. Conducted by Crain’s in partnership with the Best Companies Group, the annual list is based on the feedback of more than 20,000 employees who answer questions covering topics including working conditions, benefits and corporate culture.
Earlier this year, Cooley’s fast-growing New York office celebrated the first anniversary of its landmark move to the innovation epicenter of Hudson Yards. The space was previously recognized as a finalist on Crain’s Coolest Offices in New York feature. Fortune has also consistently named Cooley a Best Place to Work in New York.
