Travis LeBlanc Confirmed as Member of the Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board for Second Term

The US Senate has confirmed Cooley partner Travis LeBlanc as a member of the Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board for his second term.

Established as an independent agency in 2007, the PCLOB’s mission is to advise on and review the federal government’s counterterrorism activities to safeguard privacy and civil liberties. The independent, bipartisan agency’s five members are nominated by the president, confirmed by the Senate and serve staggered six-year terms.
