
About Abbey
Abbey represents privately held emerging and high-growth companies and venture capital investors. Her work spans the entire corporate life cycle, including pre-incorporation planning, business formation, corporate restructuring, ongoing corporate governance, equity and debt financings, strategic acquisitions, and successful M&A exits. She also represents venture capital funds, private equity funds, family offices and corporate venture groups in connection with their investments in emerging and high-growth companies.
Abbey has represented numerous public and private companies in connection with domestic and international mergers, acquisitions and other strategic transactions, including acqui-hires and licensing arrangements. She regularly counsels boards of directors and executives on preparing for and executing strategic add-on acquisitions and successful M&A exits. She has represented several private equity funds and their portfolio companies in platform and bolt-on acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, equity investments and sale transactions.
Before joining Cooley, Abbey was an associate in the Silicon Valley office of a multinational law firm.
