About Andrea
Andrea Bromfeld is a special counsel in the credit finance practice group and a member of the Cooley business department. She specializes in credit finance, representing both lenders and borrowers in a wide range of secured financings. These include both the origination and restructuring of senior secured loans, revolving credit facilities, acquisition financings and factoring and asset based lending transactions. Lenders represented include HSBC Bank USA, N.A. and CIT Corporation.
She also practices in the areas of life sciences, technology transactions, trademark copyright and advertising and Internet law. Andrea speaks on the various related issues of credit finance and recently served as a panelist at the HSBC-sponsored June 2013 event on Doing Business in China which explored the myriad challenges of selling into the Chinese marketplace.
She received a JD from Fordham University School of Law in 1995, where she served as a member of the Fordham Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif.
