About Ariana

Ari is a litigation associate at Cooley who focuses their practice on general commercial litigation and complex civil litigation. Ari has worked on several class actions, including antitrust, privacy, and technology-focused class actions. Ari advises clients at all stages of litigation – from fact development, discovery and deposition preparation to motion practice, trial and appeals. Ari also has an active pro bono practice.

Ari received their JD from the UCLA School of Law, where they were awarded membership in the Order of Barristers, a national honorary organization that provides recognition for individuals who have excelled in advocacy and service at their respective schools. During law school, Ari served as the moot court president, co-chief production editor for the Journal of International Law and Foreign Affairs, and admissions chair for the Latinx Law Students Association. Ari’s law school team won the Hispanic National Bar Association Vision in Action Uvaldo Herrera National Moot Court Competition, and Ari earned the Best Advocate award. Ari also externed for Judge Jacqueline Nguyen of the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Before law school, Ari attended Arizona State University, where they were a Washington, DC, correspondent and radio journalist. While reporting in DC, Ari was awarded a White House Correspondents’ Association Scholarship. Ari also was recognized as an Outstanding Undergraduate Student by the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at ASU.
