
About Aris
Aris advises clients on matters including complex commercial litigation, arbitrations and investigations. Before joining Cooley, he clerked for Associate Judge Caitlin Halligan of the New York Court of Appeals.
During law school, Aris served as an editor in chief of the Harvard Journal of Law & Technology and as a research assistant to professor Martha Minow. He was also a student attorney at the Cyberlaw Clinic, based at Harvard’s Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society, and interned with the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland in Baltimore.
Before law school, Aris was a Teach For America corps member in Baltimore, where he taught high school mathematics. He became invested in using education tech to elevate student achievement and maintains an interest in how tech can uplift outcomes throughout the public sector.
