About Charles
Charles Bair represents private and public companies in corporate and securities matters, including private financings, public offerings, M&A, tender offers, joint ventures, corporate governance matters, Securities and Exchange Commission reporting and compliance and employment and compensation arrangements.
He also advises venture capital and private equity funds in connection with financings and other transactions. Charles is counsel to companies in diverse industries, including biotechnology, clean technology, healthcare, medical device, retail, hardware, software and internet. His clients range from startups to public companies with hundreds of millions of dollars in annual revenues.
Prior to joining Cooley, Charles was an advisory scientist in the Storage Systems Division of IBM, focusing on research and development of server class hard disk drives.
