Charles M. Schaible is a special counsel in the Cooley litigation department and joined Cooley in 1994..
While at the University of California, Boalt Hall, he served as a judicial extern for the Honorable D. Lowell Jensen of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, and as a research assistant for Professor Melvin A. Eisenberg. He was a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma honorary society at the Graduate School of Business at Columbia University and a Rufus Choate Scholar at Dartmouth College
Before attending law school, Charles was, among other things, a securities analyst at the investment banking firms Dillon Read & Co. and Bear Stearns, on whose behalf he advised institutional clients on investments in health care.
