About Christophe

Christophe Beauduin is a Special Counsel in the firm’s New York office where he focuses on advising a wide variety of life sciences companies researching, discovering, developing and marketing products in various therapeutic areas and across all stages of development. Christophe works closely with his clients in connection with their overall licensing and partnering strategy, and assists them in the structuring, drafting, and negotiating of complex strategic business development transactions, including research and discovery relationships, clinical product collaborations and commercial stage agreements.

Prior to joining Cooley, Christophe served as Assistant General Counsel – Business Development at Bristol Myers Squibb, where he led and coordinated legal support for business development transactions, with a focus on the fields of cell therapy, hematology and research enabling technologies and platforms.

Recent representative transactions include:

  • $70+ million multi-year discovery collaboration and option agreement*
  • $50+ million target discovery collaboration agreement*
  • $100 million in-license of formulation technology*
  • $1.5+ billion oncology development and commercialization collaboration agreement*
  • $170 million out-license of development program*
