About Daniel
Daniel A. Goldberger is a special counsel in the real estate practice group and joined Cooley in 2006. He handles a wide range of complex commercial real estate matters both domestically and in the Caribbean and Central America, including acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, financings, leasing and construction and development projects.
Prior to joining Cooley, he was a partner in Michael, Levitt, Goldberger & Rubenstein, a New York real estate boutique, where he represented developers and property owners in connection with all stages of real property development and operation – from initial property acquisition, to structuring complex joint venture and financing arrangements with institutional and private equity and debt sources, to negotiating significant retail and office leases. Earlier in his career, Daniel was associated with the law firms White & Case and Sonnenschein, Nath & Rosenthal.
