About Denny
Denny Xu focuses his practice on corporate and securities law, representing public and private companies in a variety of corporate matters ranging from mergers and acquisitions, venture financings, public offerings and corporate governance, particularly in the technology and life sciences industries.
Prior to joining Cooley, Denny was an associate in the corporate department of another international law firm in Boston. He received his JD from Boston University School of Law, where he was an articles editor for the Boston University Law Review and a member of the Asia-Pacific Law Student Association. During law school, Denny served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Jennifer C. Boal in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. He also received the "Best Brief" award in the Edward C. Stone Moot Court Competition.
