About Elizabeth
Elizabeth Reese is a partner in the fund formation practice group and a member of Cooley's business department in the San Francisco office. Elizabeth's practice focuses on the formation and representation of private investment funds, including venture capital funds, private equity funds, and funds-of-funds, both in the United States and internationally.
Elizabeth received her law degree from the University of California at Los Angeles School of Law in 2012, where she was a Senior Editor of the UCLA Law Review. While at UCLA, she authored the student comment "Techniques for Mitigating Cognitive Biases in Fingerprint Identification," 59 UCLA L. Rev. 1252 (2012). She received her bachelor's degree in Psychology, cum laude, from Harvard College in 2007.
