About George

George represents clients in high-stakes commercial disputes and government investigations. Drawing on his experience working in the US public and private sectors – including a diverse array of roles in federal and state government – he strategically advances client priorities in matters ranging from arbitrations to bankruptcies to congressional investigations.

Before joining Cooley, George advised Democratic Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey on artificial intelligence policy and surveillance reform as a member of Booker’s Judiciary Committee staff.

George graduated from Harvard Law School, where he served as symposium chair of the Harvard International Law Journal and deputy executive editor of the Harvard National Security Journal. He also was an extern with the State Department’s Office of the Legal Adviser and the US attorney’s office in Boston.

Prior to law school, George worked as a consultant at a commercial diplomacy firm, founded by former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, where he advised global companies on policy developments in Europe and Turkey.
