About Jacqueline
Jacqueline’s practice includes drafting and prosecuting UK, European, and Patent Cooperation Treaty applications and the management of worldwide patent portfolios. She is experienced in representing both patentees and opponents in European Patent Office opposition and appeal proceedings. Jacqueline also has experience in managing supplementary protection certificate (SPC) applications throughout Europe and in providing advice on SPC filing strategy.
Jacqueline provides infringement and validity opinions and freedom to operate analyses. Her technical background is in biochemistry and molecular genetics, and she handles a wide range of subject matter – including DNA sequencing, gene expression and inhibition, nucleic acid assays, diagnostics, microRNA, antibodies, chimeric and therapeutic polypeptides, T-cell therapeutics, viral vectors and vaccines.
Before joining Cooley in 2015, Jacqueline was an associate in the London office of Mintz Levin. Before that, she worked as a technical assistant at Marks & Clerk.
