Jared S. Abes

Jared practices general corporate and securities law, with an emphasis on representing emerging and high-growth companies through all stages of their life cycle, as well as advising venture capital firms and other institutional investors. His practice covers a variety of general corporate and transactional matters, including venture financings, corporate governance, public company offerings, Securities and Exchange Commission reporting and compliance, and mergers & acquisitions.

While attending law school, Jared served as the senior articles editor for the Berkeley Business Law Journal and as an associate editor on the California Law Review. He also was an intern as part of the SEC Scholars Program and worked in the commission’s San Francisco regional office. Prior to law school, Jared served as a tank and cavalry officer in the US Army.
