About Jeremiah

Jeremiah focuses his practice on bankruptcy and restructuring matters. He has represented public and private companies, individual creditors, secured lenders and asset purchasers in large and complex distressed situations. His experience includes advising clients in both in-court and out-of-court restructurings across a broad range of industries – including technology, life sciences, cryptocurrency and retail.  

Jeremiah received his JD, cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School, where he was a notes and comments editor for the Brooklyn Journal of Corporate, Financial & Commercial Law and a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Honor Society.

Before joining Cooley, Jeremiah was an associate at a leading boutique bankruptcy firm in New York City, where his practice focused on representing debtors in Chapter 11 restructurings and related litigations.  

From 2019 to 2020, Jeremiah served as a law clerk to Judge Martin Glenn, US Bankruptcy Judge for the Southern District of New York.

Jeremiah’s noteworthy representations include:

  • Representing the official committees in prominent Chapter 11 cases around the country – including Whittaker Clark & Daniels, Endo Pharmaceuticals, LTL Management (Johnson & Johnson), Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and Easterday Ranches
  • Representing PhaseBio Pharmaceuticals, Lucira Health, Packable Holdings, Ascena Retail Group and The Robert Allen Duralee Group* in Chapter 11 proceedings
