About Jessica
Jessica is an associate in the life sciences group with a focus on patent prosecution – including patent preparation, domestic and foreign prosecution, strategic counseling and portfolio management. She has extensive research experience in the fields of molecular and cell biology, gene regulation, development, neurobiology, genetics, genomics and evolution.
Before joining Cooley, Jessica was a postdoctoral researcher at Janelia Research Campus, as well as a Human Frontier and Marie SkÅ‚odowska-Curie Actions fellow at the Prud’homme and Gompel lab at the Marseille Developmental Biology Institute (IBDM) in France. She studied the evolutionary genetics and neurobiology of courtship behavior in fruit flies.
