About John
John B. Hale's practice focuses on capital call, subscription and management company facilities, in addition to the range of venture debt products. He represents banks, venture debt funds and companies in connection with the making and unmaking of credit arrangements, including simple and not simple loans, warrants and related matters.
Prior to joining Cooley, John was a partner in DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary, the successor to Gray Cary Ware & Freidenrich. He began his legal career as an associate at Pillsbury, Madison & Sutro and, before that, served as an aide to Representative William A. Steiger (R-Wisconsin).
