About Josh

Joshua Lubetsky is an eDiscovery attorney and manager in the litigation and eDiscovery services department, a member of the Cooley litigation department. His practice focuses on eDiscovery law and management of electronically stored information in the context of litigation, regulatory proceedings and internal investigations.

Josh’s experience includes managing all the components of eDiscovery, including advising Cooley clients in strategic planning for responding to discovery requests in both civil matters and internal investigations. His counseling work includes advising on litigation readiness strategies, implementing defensible data preservation and collection practices, cross-border eDiscovery matters, use of technology assisted review, and project management of electronic discovery matters including managing large scale document reviews and data disposition efforts. Josh has extensive experience working with financial services, life science, and technology clients.

Prior to rejoining Cooley, Josh was litigation services manager at Davis, Polk & Wardwell and a senior manager at Ernst & Young and between 2008-2012, an eDiscovery attorney at Cooley. Josh received his JD from New York Law School in 2000 and his BA in Political Science from Hunter College. He is admitted to practice in New York State.
