About Juliana
Juliana's practice includes domestic and global trademark prosecution, clearance, and enforcement as well as federal trademark and copyright litigation matters and trademark disputes at the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Juliana has helped her clients in the biopharmacy, retail, technology, restaurant, entertainment, and fashion industries obtain favorable outcomes in protecting their intellectual property rights in the US and worldwide. She has represented clients in copyright and trademark matters in federal court and prosecuted and defended numerous oppositions and cancellations before the US Patent and Trademark Office’s Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
Juliana has also taken on a number of pro bono matters, including representing non-profit groups in trademark counseling and prosecution, representing tenants in eviction disputes, and successfully obtaining asylum for clients before the Immigration Court.
Juliana received her JD from Duke University School of Law, where she was an articles editor for Law and Contemporary Problems, a manager of the Innocence Project, and an active member of the Moot Court executive board.
