About Kelsey
Kelsey works with technology and internet companies on class actions and complex commercial disputes. She has experience litigating and advising on data privacy and security, Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, automatic renewal laws, contractual disputes, business torts and intellectual property. Kelsey’s experience covers all stages of litigation, from pre-dispute counselling and dispositive motion practice through trial and the appeals process. She also maintains an active pro bono practice.
Before joining Cooley, Kelsey was a law clerk to Judge Michelle T. Friedland of the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Before attending law school, she worked as a kindergarten and second grade teacher through Teach for America.
