About Lee
Lee Gleason focuses his practice on transactional and land use and zoning matters for developers and landowners in jurisdictions throughout Northern Virginia. He counsels clients at all stages of the land planning, zoning and development process.
Prior to joining Cooley, Lee was an associate at Venable LLP, where he represented and advised major developers and landowners on various land use and zoning applications in multiple jurisdictions throughout the region, including major site plan and site plan amendments, minor amendments, special exceptions, special use permits, and comprehensive sign plans. Lee also has experience assisting clients on leasing matters, complex easement agreements, and homeowners’ association documents.
While attending Antonin Scalia Law School, Lee served as associate developments editor of the George Mason Law Review Journal, vice president of the American Inn of Court, and a board member of the Mason Sports and Entertainment Law Association.
