Helping navigate fast-moving, innovative clients through legal systems not always designed with their offerings in mind is the most interesting and challenging part of my job.
About Leo
Leo is a technology-focused commercial lawyer who also has extensive experience in data privacy and tech regulation.
His comprehensive understanding of these areas makes him incredibly well positioned to handle ‘data-heavy’ clients and situations. For this reason, the core of his practice is built around supporting clients in spaces that are inherently data intensive, including:
- Artificial intelligence (AI), where he advises clients on developing, licensing and integrating a wide variety of general and narrow-purpose AI technologies – with a particular interest in working with clients leveraging generative AI solutions in creative industries.
- Data privacy and tech regulatory, offering in-depth knowledge of the European data privacy and tech regulatory spaces. Leo’s practice is deeply transatlantic, and he has particular skill working with US organisations expanding into Europe.
- Digital health, where he delivers tailored commercial and data privacy guidance to digital health clients ranging from therapy platforms to AI-enabled diagnostics technologies to AI-powered drug discovery operations.
- Information security, helping developers and users of information security solutions meet the opportunities and regulatory demands in an area of ever-increasing strategic significance.
