About Luci
Luci brings her deep knowledge of corporate secretary, governance and securities matters gained from in-house and law firm experience across diverse industries to Cooley’s public companies practice group, where she focuses on thought leadership, practice innovation and developing new processes to efficiently provide legal services to the firm’s clients.
Before joining Cooley, Luci most recently was Activision Blizzard’s corporate secretary and senior vice president of securities and corporate governance. Prior to Activision, Luci led the corporate secretary, securities and governance functions for Las Vegas Sands, the world’s largest developer and operator of integrated resorts, and for Verisign, a global provider of internet infrastructure services. Luci started her in-house counsel career at Adelphia Communications, where she joined the new executive management team at the fifth-largest cable company in the US following the founders’ indictments for fraud and the company’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing.
Before moving in house, Luci was a partner at a large San Francisco-based law firm, where she represented public and rapidly growing private clients in the life sciences, healthcare services and technology industries. She also was a partner at a Canadian international corporate law firm, where she advised clients on capital markets transactions and securities compliance and disclosure issues, along with counseling Canadian clients on US securities laws.
