About JJ
JJ Meng represents underwriters and public and private companies in capital markets and corporate transactions, including initial public offerings, other equity offerings, and high-yield, investment-grade and convertible debt offerings. JJ has represented a wide variety of financial institutions and issuers, including life sciences, technology, food and beverage and real estate companies. JJ also advises companies with respect to general corporate governance and securities matters.
Prior to joining Cooley, JJ was a capital markets associate in the Hong Kong office of Sidley Austin, where her practice focused on Hong Kong-registered initial public offerings and debt offerings pursuant to Regulation 144A and Regulation S. While at Sidley Austin, JJ was seconded to Ant Group (also commonly known as Alipay), where she worked on corporate and commercial transactions involving digital mobile payments, merchant acquiring payment processing and cross-border settlement, and regulatory matters relating to payment services.
